Good morning, fellow imaginers, and welcome to another weekend edition here at YJBLiterary. I’ve had a pretty eventful week, and it’s nice to spend this time to gather my thoughts and deliver some updates for you all. As you guys already know from my last post, I have finished the revised manuscript for the third Metamorphs book, and I have sent it out to the editor. The goal is to be able to release the novel by the beginning of next month. I’ve also been working on creating the cover, and my aim is to be able to send my initial designs to my cover designer by tomorrow. In the downtime, there are a few other items that I started to go through prior to the books release.
Along with brainstorming the book cover, I’ve also developed the plot synopsis that will be going on the back of the hardcover. As always, you all will be getting a sneak preview of what the book will be about, as well as the official title, which I was able to come up with last week.
Metamorphs 3: Fallout
Synopsis: The world is in an uproar since the events of the Escabana Bombings. After defeating Doomsayer and his Harbingers, Tristan Davids and his friends must deal with the aftermath of their explosive showdown: the discovery of metamorphs, a deadly, new villain, and a world that now views them as potential threats. It’s not long before the team becomes a target of the U.S. military, and they’ll need to put their lives in the hands of an old enemy in order to survive. To make matters worse, Tristan’s growing powers have become unmanageable, leading the young metamorph down a dark journey to uncover the truth behind his family’s mysterious past. With each twist and turn, Tristan’s convictions will be put to the test, and he’ll be forced to answer a question he never thought he’d ask: Is Tristan sure he’s on the right side?
Having read the synopsis, I hope you all are as excited as I am for the books release! I will have my customary book trailer ready prior to the launch of the book as well. In the meantime, I’ve completed my plot overview this week and am designing the outline for the final book in the Metamorphs series. It’s bittersweet writing it, but I am looking forward to seeing people’s reactions by the end of the year. It’s going to be an exciting time, and Book Four will launch the Alterra universe into many more amazing series. I’m looking forward to seeing you all along for the ride, and until next time, keep imagining!
